Latina Woman finds us on YouTube and Accepts Islam

Welcome to Islam Yasselin!

Yasselin is from a Mexican family living in Louisiana. She was blessed to have some good Muslims around her at work and school to show her a balanced and peaceful lifestyle which inspired her to look into Islam more. As soon as she found IslamInSpanish on YouTube she was amazed and felt so much joy after realizing Islam is exactly what she was looking for to transform her life for the better. She reached out to us on Instagram because she felt there wasn’t a community in her city that she could really connect with and learn from so she asked if she could take her testimony of faith (Shahada) with us online. Which of course we welcomed her with open arms.

She had a tough upbringing and is now making changes to better herself. Islam is one of those ways she feels will truly give her a sense of purpose and gain the peace she’s been searching for her whole life. #Alhumdulillah we were blessed to be given the opportunity to show Yasselin the support she was looking for and connected her with many resources and other sisters who are on the same path of getting closer to Allah and making a better life for themselves. #AllahuAkbar
