For a few hours on Saturday, July 17th a group of like minded people got together at the IslamInSpanish Centro Islamico to help put together 500 kits that will be distributed to the homeless in Houston, TX by SEARCH whose vision is to see a Houston without homelessness. It was beautiful to see people taking time out of their lives for the opportunity to do something that may better someone else’s life, even if just for a moment. We all know that sometimes it is the small consistent things that make the most impact, and not the grand gesture. God willing we will be blessed with the opportunity to continue to be able to serve the community in whatever way possible.

Durante unas horas el sábado 17 de julio, un grupo de personas de ideas afines se reunieron en el Centro Islamico IslamInSpanish para ayudar a armar 500 kits que serán distribuidos a las personas sin hogar en Houston, TX por SEARCH, cuya visión es ver un Houston sin personas sin hogar. . Fue hermoso ver a las personas tomarse un tiempo de sus vidas para tener la oportunidad de hacer algo que pueda mejorar la vida de otra persona, aunque sea solo por un momento. Todos sabemos que a veces son las pequeñas cosas consistentes las que tienen el mayor impacto, y no el gran gesto. Si Dios quiere, seremos bendecidos con la oportunidad de continuar sirviendo a la comunidad de cualquier manera posible.
