“The family atmosphere” A Community Members experience

#TBT to our first “Convivencia” Potluck since the Grand Opening of the IslamInSpanish Centro Islamico. Read below for a community members experience to their first ever “Convivencia” Poltuck.

“This was my first experience with the Conviviencia Potluck at IslamInSpanish Centro Islamico and what stuck out the most was the family atmosphere. Everyone was so warm and welcoming that I felt like I was at my grandmother’s house.

It was a family reunion style environment with diverse but amazing food. People brought so much food there maybe still more at the Centro.

I’m looking forward to the next one and I may bring one of my signature dishes next time :)” - A Community Member’s Perspective
