Welcome to Islam Rigo!
Rigo had seen the IslamInSpanish Dallas Outreach Center before when he came to get Starbucks, across the parking lot, told himself that he would come visit sometime because it was interesting that this place said IslamInSpanish.
He also had a friend that was a great example for him. He would see the peace and discipline he embodied and that intrigued him to eventually set foot into the Outreach Center. He was very sincere when asking questions. He also had the opportunity to visit a local mosque, east plano islamic center, his first time visiting a mosque.
One of the things he really liked about the IslamInSpanish center is that nobody was forcing him to convert, nobody even asked him if he was interested in becoming Muslim. We let our kind gestures and practices do most of the talking.
While he still attended other churches, who would at times heckle him for taking part in Christianity after them knowing he was also looking into Islam. That is something that bothered him. We never once asked him to convert or to pray with us, everything was on his own volition.
I remembered the day he asked if he could pray with us and we were kinda shocked. It was a beautiful thing. He prayed several times with us. Before accepting Islam.
