Blood Drive

Alhamdullilah. On Friday, June 18th, we hosted our first blood drive in conjunction with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center at IslamInSpanish. It was a success with our community donating 23 units of blood. This amount of blood has the potential to positively impact close to 70 lives!!! As the centrifuges spun and hummed while processing blood, and people rhythmically squeezed foam balls, you could also hear the joyful conversation and laughter of the volunteers donating blood. We look forward to seeing your beautiful smiles and hearing the cacophony of your voices at our next blood drive. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you all!!!
