1st Squad Up was a hit!

First Squad Up meeting was a BLAST. We played team games, stretched our minds while doing a tad bit of cardio in a fun way. It was a positive experience for the kids as it was for the coaches. We bonded through activities, learning about brotherhood, and understanding our connection as Muslims. We broke down Brotherhood into 3 components: Self, Community/Team, Leadership then dove deep into these concepts and how it related to them. Finally to add the fun and learning, we end our program meeting in Salah. There couldn’t be a better way to send off our inaugural with prayer and then a Huddle yelling “SQUAD UP - BROTHERHOOD!” SQUAD UP’s ultimate goal is to help mold these young men to the men who will shape our world's future in a positive and Islamic way. Looking forward to seeing you in February!

SQUAD UP is a community developed by IslamInSpanish to provide young men/teenagers a place to connect with other Muslim their age while developing and stretching them mentally, physically and Islamically. We want to provide a safe place where they open up but more importantly learn how to implement islamic principles in their everyday life. Join the next Squad Up Feb. 22nd!
