Can you believe that it was four years ago that IslamInSpanish opened the doors of the Only Latino Led Islamic Center in the U.S.?  SubhanAllah how time flies!

The blessed night was capped off by 3 new shahadahs! Efrain who had been attending our weekly non-Muslim classes in Spanish came with his mother and it was emotional for her to witness her son accept Islam. She said she was there to support his choice because she respected that he found it to be a life-changing next step for him in life.

We welcome Velia to Islam who had been told about Islam from her friends who brought her to the Centro Islamico for the first time. She was moved and convinced after witnessing the diverse environment and chose to take her Shahadah upon her first visit. The third person who embraced Islam this evening chose to do it in private.

MashaAllah it was a packed event with so many people of all ages and backgrounds attending and enjoying food, friends, and fun. Convivencia means Co-Existing at its best!
