As we are coming near the end of Ramadan we put together a dinner to celebrate all the Converts/Reverts, new and experienced, of our community this Tuesday, April 26 in collaboration with ISGH at Mezban Restaurant.
We had reached capacity with in 24 hours of opening registrations and the event was a great success! Many converts and their families came to meet other converts from different areas of Houston.
We had Raul Sanchez start the program with recitation of the Quran. Imam Tauqeer, outreach director of ISGH, co-hosted the event alongside brother Alex Gutierrez, the director of operations. We had guest speakers Roger Yelton, the Executive Director of ISGH, Bassel Choucair, VP of ISGH, Jaime “Mujahid” Fletcher the CEO and Founder of IslamInSpanish, and a special reminder from Imam Isa Parada the director of education for IslamInSpanish Centro Islamico.

A medida que nos acercamos al final del Ramadán, organizamos una cena para celebrar a todos los Conversos/Revertidos, nuevos y experimentados, de nuestra comunidad este martes 26 de abril en colaboración con ISGH en el restaurante Mezban.
¡Habíamos alcanzado la capacidad en 24 horas de la apertura de inscripciones y el evento fue un gran éxito! Muchos conversos y sus familias vinieron a conocer a otros conversos de diferentes áreas de Houston.
Hicimos que Raúl Sánchez comenzara el programa con la recitación del Corán. Imam Tauqeer, director de divulgación de ISGH, fue coanfitrión del evento junto con el hermano Alex Gutiérrez, director de operaciones. Tuvimos oradores invitados: Roger Yelton, director ejecutivo de ISGH, Bassel Choucair, vicepresidente de ISGH, Jaime "Mujahid" Fletcher, director ejecutivo y fundador de IslamInSpanish, y un recordatorio especial de Imam Isa Parada, directora de educación de IslamInSpanish Centro Islámico.
